Philly In Motion is our latest creative endeavor that took four months to complete and over 10,000 digital still images were used to create this short time-lapse and hyper lapse film that was shot all over Philadelphia, PA. If you love Philadelphia and you enjoy our short film, please share it with your friends and family!
I’ve seen a lot of different kinds of photography and videography work, but I’d be lying if I said this was anything but top of the list production right here.
Can’t wait to tell my associates about this and have them check it out, too.
Masterful style, Chuck!
I used a two camera set up to shoot a day to night time-lapse of the Philadelphia skyline. Once nightfall arrived, the fireworks show began and it was no disappointment! I selected a great location that gave me a front row seat to all of the action! If you like this video, please share it with your friends, and followers. Enjoy and Happy 4th of July!
Graduations are over and schools are quickly coming to a close for the school year. Various summer camps are set to begin including sports camps for athletes. I got the call to come out and film the Dream Scouting Network Football camp. It was a one day camp for active high school football players. It was an opportunity for the athletes to hone their skills and learn some new skills from the coaches which in turn will provide these athletes with some exposure.
This was also the first day I shot with the new Sony A7III Mirrorless camera! I absolutely love this camera and what it can do. I ran up and down the field along with the football players with the camera mounted to my gimbal to provide some interesting angles and shots.
While out doing some routine flying, I saw an opportunity to capture some content of the demolition of the old Burnett Middle School in Wilmington. I was surprised to learn that this was a 7-story middle school that had sixth through eighth grade. Over the years this building has been used for other services. A recent article by the Brandywine School District stated the building had been broken into sometime ago and all the copper wiring and pipes had been ripped out and stolen. The article went on to say the inside was a sheer mess with holes in the walls.
The demolition has been underway to tear down this iconic building to expand the athletic fields and courts of nearby P.S. Dupont Middle School.
Thanks for the photos of this iconic structure! I was supposed to attend this new school upon its completion. However, I was one of many who attended Burnett while it was housed inside P.S. DuPont High School until the completion of this structure. P.S. DuPont was divided into two sections with a division fence (I think) on the 3rd floor to keep the 7th and 8th graders separate from the high school section. Great memories there but I regret not getting to go the the actual school. By 1972, I was now a freshmen in high school and sadly, I never had the opportunity to walk through the halls of Burnett Middle School. Thanks for the drone photos above! The school will always be in my heart. So long M.H. Burnett Middle School!
